  • Conduct training for union representatives and other stakeholders on the arbitration process in Cambodia;

  • Translated, from Khmer to English and vice versa, all headlines and certain articles in local newspapers;
  • Translated orally, from Khmer to English, to supervisors the main local news articles they selected from different Cambodian-language newspapers;
  • Wrote, in English, press reviews, using a series of articles on the same story written by different local newspapers. Such article reviews are used for the Weekly Business Press Review;
  • Filed and collected all the translations by my colleagues and kept them as records;
  • Kept tracks of the translations and reported to the supervisors what was done daily and weekly;
  • From time to time, translated simultaneously for my supervisors during interviews with reporters.

  • Translated from Khmer to English (1) a report by a former Khmer Rouge who had been detained and questioned in the S-21 prison, (2) the Regulation on Association of Composers and Lyricists, (3) an interview with SIENG Vanthy, former popular singer during the 1960s, (4) documents lists and, (5) such documents as personal statements of my colleagues and (6) articles and reports for the Searching for the Truth, the monthly magazine of DC-Cam;
  • Entered into a database bibliographical information from D collection which includes general documents such as bibliography, reports, minute meetings, execution logs, confessions and others;
  • Typed in Khmer and English - various transcripts and documents from the interviews and other reports.
