Getting to Yes
This is to me a must-read book by Roger Fisher and William Ury if you wish to be an effective negotiator. It contains plenty of win-win negotiation techniques. The strategies for dealing with “dirty tricks” in negotiations are also striking.
You can’t be an effective negotiator reading this book alone, though. What’s also important is practice and observation. By observation i mean you observe yourself whenever you find yourself negotiating. That said, the book is a wonderful starting point and reference material!
