Wordpress for Dummies: A quick review
Wordpress for Dummies is just a great book for learning Wordpress software! Whether you’re a newbie or intermediate, it’s the right book. Once you’ve finished the book, you can be confident enough to get the best out of the Wordpress software both as a blogging platform and as a content management system (CMS).
Besides the basic and standard lessons on Wordpress software, it also contains a whole chapter on Wordpress MU which is a powerful “piece of software that lets you run hundreds of thousands of blogs with one installation, on one single domain.” A good example of this is the wordpress.com itself.
Another cool thing I like about the book is the online resources especially on the documentation page of wordpress.org it refers to.
Chapter 9: Typing Up Templates and Chapter 15: Beyond Blogging: Wordpress as a Content Management System are of my particular interest. I’m now more confident than ever in making the both contents and the look of my lil site the way I want.
I’m also happy Wordpress for Dummies told me how to create feeds for our blog categories. It’s the question I’d been seeking the answer to for more than a month before I got the book.

I’m glad you’re the first person to comment on my blog. The book is really useful. I’m also using it to help me write a manual for an association im affiliated with, whose website i’ve helped developed also using wordpress.
