Context
Algorithmics partners deliver classes using Algorithmics’ own platform, designed so schools do not need extra software or textbooks and the platform supports homework workflows.
Algorithmics also supports partners with teacher training and platform onboarding as part of school partnership support.
The problem
Standardized curriculum still fails if delivery is inconsistent. Typical issues included:
- instructors need rapid onboarding to both platform and teaching methodology
- classes drift in pacing and quality without clear delivery standards
- new cohorts create operational load without repeatable training operations
- platform features go underused when instructors are not confident using them
Goals
- Ramp instructors quickly and confidently on the Algorithmics platform and lesson flow
- Standardize class delivery so learners get a consistent experience across cohorts
- Create repeatable training operations for onboarding, QA, and ongoing improvement
- Support local rollout and scheduling so delivery works smoothly week to week
What I did
1) Instructor onboarding to platform and delivery model
- Onboarded instructors to the Algorithmics platform and classroom workflow (lesson flow, assignments, feedback routines) aligned with how the platform supports instruction and homework.
- Reinforced the “teach from the platform” approach so delivery stayed consistent.
2) Created delivery standards and a repeatable teaching rhythm
- Built simple standards for lesson pacing, learner support, and parent-facing expectations
- Standardized session preparation so instructors entered each class with clear outcomes and structure
3) Training operations and quality reinforcement
- Coordinated instructor training sessions and refreshers
- Captured recurring teaching friction points and updated guidance so improvements stuck
4) Rollout support for cohorts and program schedules
- Supported planning and rollout mechanics so classes ran smoothly through enrollment cycles and cohort starts
- Kept enablement practical by focusing on the exact workflows instructors used daily
