Context
Algorithmics is an international programming school model for children and teens, delivered locally in small-group classes and, depending on location, with optional online learning.
In Phnom Penh, the growth challenge was to convert parent interest into consistent bookings and enrollments while maintaining a clear, trustworthy program narrative.
The problem
Early-stage education businesses often struggle because:
- parents do not immediately understand the program fit by age and outcome
- the website does not clearly guide visitors to the next step (trial, info session, inquiry)
- content and social proof exist but are not structured into a conversion journey
- lead handling is inconsistent, so high-intent inquiries cool off
Goals
- Make the offer instantly understandable by the audience (age bands, outcomes, format)
- Increase qualified inbound leads through discoverability and clear messaging
- Improve conversion from visitor to inquiry to trial to enrollment
- Build repeatable content and funnel operations the team could run continuously
Constraints
- Limited time and resources typical of a growing school
- Parent decision cycle requires trust, clarity, and social proof
- Multiple programs and age groups create complexity if information architecture is weak
What I did
1) Clarified positioning and program packaging
- Refined the way programs were explained so parents could quickly see “who it’s for” and “what the child will be able to do”
- Helped align the site narrative with the core Algorithmics value proposition (kids programming education)
2) Built a discoverability engine (SEO + structured content)
- Implemented technical and on-page hygiene basics so pages were indexable, scannable, and internally connected
- Created a repeatable content approach to support ongoing discovery and parent education
3) Improved the conversion path (CRO fundamentals)
- Structured landing pages and program pages so the next step was obvious
- Reduced friction around inquiry and booking actions (clear CTAs, fewer decision points)
4) Operationalized lead-to-enrollment workflows
- Introduced simple process assets (response guidelines, templates, follow-up cadence) so inquiries did not stall
- Standardized key messages so staff communicated consistently
5) Set up measurement and iteration
- Defined what to track weekly (inquiries, bookings, conversion signals)
- Used a feedback loop to adjust messaging, page structure, and content priorities over time
Deliverables
- Website content structure and program page framework
- Content operations rhythm (templates, standards, update cadence)
- Conversion-focused landing page and CTA patterns
- Lead handling playbook (response templates and follow-up flow)
- Measurement routine for continuous improvement
Results (high level)
- Scaled enrollment from about 80 to 300 learners in under 12 months (multi-factor effort; my contribution was web strategy, funnel execution, and growth ops)
- Increased clarity and conversion readiness through improved structure, messaging, and lead workflows
- Established a repeatable growth system the team could continue running
Proof
- Public school site and program positioning (format and age range vary by location but reflect the broader Algorithmics model).
- Curriculum and partner support model provided by Algorithmics Global (educational platform, materials, business LMS for partners).
- Optional: sanitized funnel snapshot or page examples available on request
